Four generations of the Randall family have made hurls in their Wexford workshop between Enniscorthy and Wexford. One of the longest established hurl makers in the world, Randall’s specialty is the bespoke hurl. Randall uses mature sustainable Irish ash trees (25-50 years old) to guarantee the right degree of flexibility and so is less prone to breaking. Flexibility is key when crafting the hurl as it gives the stick its driving power. Randall’s goal keeper hurls are in high demand.
The workshop contains an array of hurls used by past champions – Bobby Rackard, Mick Mackie, Liam Dunne and Martin Storey.
