Nevin Hurleys

The craft of hurley making was passed on to Albert Nevin 30 years ago by his father.  Proud of his heritage, he makes high-quality hand and machine turned hurls.  Albert combines the latest automated machinery with the traditional craft of hurley making to produce an unique hurley to meet each of his customers’ individual needs.

He shows a strong commitment to the environment and sources the Ash timber from sustainable forests.

Opening Hours:

Monday – Friday 9.30am – 6.30pm and Saturday 9.30am – 5.00pm.  After hours opening available upon request.

Workshop Directions:

From Cloghan: Take Balllinasloe road, continue for 3.1 km.  Turn left onto Shannonharbour road for 1.1 km.   Workshop on right hand side.

From Banagher:  Take Cloghan road, continue for 2.6 km, turn left onto Shannonharbour road, continue for 3.6 km.   Workshop on left hand side.
